Carsten Trolle provides behind-the-scenes look into DSV's acquisition process

In an interview with ShippingWatch, he now provides a behind-the-scenes look into the acquisition of Panalpina and the subsequent decisions, which must be made quickly.

Outside, planes take off and land at minute intervals. Inside sits Carsten Trolle, CEO of DSV's Air & Sea division, scribbling numbers on a white piece of paper.

Accompanied by a few, close colleagues, he sits in the lobby of the Radisson Hotel located right next to the airport in the Swiss city of Zürich. The team has made the trip to Switzerland as part of DSV's efforts to acquire freight forwarder Panalpina, which is headquartered less than 100 kilometers away.
