Ceva Logistics sees improved operating performance in overheated container market

Ceva Logistics, acquired by French container line CMA CGM in 2019, saw progress in the first quarter at a time when a lack of containers has sent freight rates soaring in the container market.

Marseille-based logistics company Ceva Logistics, acquired by CMA CGM in 2019 and now its primary logistics business, has come out of the first quarter with improvements on the top line and in operating performance.

Ceva Logistics saw revenue of USD 2.1 billion in the first quarter of 2021, compared to USD 1.7 billion in the first three months of 2020, shows the quarterly report from CMA CGM Group.
