Kuehne+Nagel relies on partnerships to dodge capacity issues in chaotic container market

Kuehne+Nagel, one of the largest logistics companies in the world and one of the container lines' biggest clients, has had no issues finding spots on board container ships despite the past year's freight chaos. In an interview with ShippingWatch, the company explains the why and how of it.

While many smaller companies and logistics operators have loudly bemoaned the past year's chaotic container market, the situation is something quite different at the Swiss logistics major Kuehne+Nagel.

Global Head of Trade Management at Kuehne+Nagel Paolo Montrone tells ShippingWatch that on the whole, the company has succeeded in getting containers on board the ships as needed.
