Former Damco exec to be CEO of merged logistics company

Private equity investor Axcel takes over logistics companies Danx and Carousel, which are put together to become a pan-European player. Former Damco exec Klaus Rud Sejling to be CEO when the companies have merged.

Danish company Danx is to be merged with UK-based Carousel and become a pan-European player within in-night delivery of spare parts for the industry, informs buyer of the companies, Nordic private equity investor Axcel.

Combined, the two companies' revenue will amount to DKK 1.4bn (USD 214m).
