Iceland court charges Eimskip COO in Indian beaching case

The top management of container carrier Eimskip will be questioned by the Icelandic prosecution authority as part of the investigation regarding illegal scrapping of two vessels in India. Eimskip’s COO is charged in the case.

The Icelandic prosecution authority has summoned the top management of container line Eimskip for formal questioning as part of the investigation in case of scrapping of two end-of-life vessels at Indian beaching yards, states Eimskip in a stock exchange announcement.
