Ceva Logistics acquires forwarder focused on Africa

The logistics branch of French carrier CMA CGM has acquired a freight forwarder present in a number of East African countries.

Freight forwarder Spedag Interfreight, which is present in a range of East African countries, becomes part of logistics company Ceva, owned by major French container line CMA CGM.

A statement published on Ceva’s website reads that the transaction has closed, and that the acquisition is part of the company’s plans to expand in Africa.
