DHL shuts down internal business in Russia but reopens in Ukraine

DHL terminates its transport business in Russia but slowly begins reopening activities in Ukraine, which have been shut down for safety reasons.

Major German logistics firm Deutsche Post DHL Group withdraws from the internal Russian market effective as of Sept. 1, but will continue delivering shipments in and out of the country – at a low level, though.

This was confirmed by the DHL’s top management at a digital press meeting Friday following the publication of the group’s best quarterly result to date.
