Maersk increases the number of cargo flights between a string of destinations in Mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe and the US, adding a new freighter to its network as well, the Danish transport major informs in a press release.

On the route between Chicago and China’s Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, the number of weekly rotations will be increased from three to six, while rotations between Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, South Carolina, Incheon International Airport, Korea, and Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, China, are set to grow from two to three per week.

Furthermore, the flight frequency from Denmark’s Billund Airport to Hangzhou Xiaoshan will go from three to five. A new Boeing 767 air freighter will be added to operations as well.

”The introduction of an additional aircraft together with a substantial increase in rotations will further expand our ability to service our customers with regular flights and controlled capacity while ensuring visibility, reliability, and resilience in their supply chains,” states Michel Pozas Lucic, Global Head of Air in A.P. Moller – Maersk, in the release.
