Shipping has doubts about a new India-Europe corridor

Global shipping organization Bimco and several shipping analysts expect that a new India-Europe corridor would not replace the current route via Suez but merely become a niche product.

Even though a number of the world’s most powerful countries support the creation of a new transport corridor to connect India with Europe, others in the global shipping community have strong doubts about the potential of the project.
