Maersk's new alliance creates confusion among forwarder's customers

Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd surprised the industry with the news of a new alliance – and this raises several questions among shippers.

There is a lack of basic and important information about what Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd’s new high-profile alliance will mean for customers who have their goods shipped on the two shipping companies’ container ships, says Danish logistics company Scan Global Logistics, which has received many inquiries from confused businesses after the news came out last week.
