Car industry particularly hit after bridge accident: "The port is a hub"

Vehicles accounted for 42% of imports at the Port of Baltimore in 2023. Shipping line and US freight forwarder are working hard to find solutions.

Shipping companies and freight forwarders are working to alleviate the worst bottlenecks in the Port of Baltimore after Tuesday’s accident when a bridge collapsed after being struck by a 10,000 teu container ship.
