Forwarders lament lack of clarity around UK border checks of food

With less than a week to go before the new regime aimed at imports of fresh produce from the EU kicks in, there is still uncertainty around the process.

The lack of clarity from the UK government around new border checks that start on April 30 for imports of fresh produce and plants from the EU is said to be frustrating supply chain operators.
