DHL boss stays calm despite increasing rates and early peak season

The situation in recent weeks has raised concerns that pandemic conditions are returning. But the head of DHL’s freight forwarding business is not worried.

Tim Scharwath, CEO of DHL’s global freight forwarding business and a member of the company’s senior management team, was at a customer meeting in Australia at the beginning of the year when the situation in the Red Sea became more clear.
