There is still a long way to go before the US and China can enter a final deal on trade between the two countries, said US President Donald Trump Tuesday at a meeting in the White House, according to news agency Reuters.

Not long ago it seemed that negotiations between the US and China were progressing and that a trade deal might be imminent. But according to the president, that might not be the case after all.
