US President Donald Trump says there is still a long way to go before the US and China enter a final trade deal. A few weeks ago, however, it seemed negotiations were progressing.

There is still a long way to go before the US and China can enter a final deal on trade between the two countries, said US President Donald Trump Tuesday at a meeting in the White House, according to news agency Reuters.
