China buys large amount of soybeans from US

Chinese companies have bought ten ship cargoes of soybeans from the US, the biggest purchase since June, Reuters writes. This occurs a few weeks before China and the US once again meet for negotiations in the ongoing trade war. Updated.

Ahead of the upcoming trade negotiations in Washington between China and the US in early October, things have started to thaw a bit between the countries.

The latest example of this is that, according to traders, private Chinese companies Thursday bought ten ship cargoes of soybeans from the US, Reuters writes.
