OECD wants transparent financial support for shipping

There should be more transparency in financial subsidies for shipping, the OECD and International Transport Forum writes in a new report examining disputed state subsidies.

There is need for a system able to determine the ultimate significance of financial support for the maritime industry, concludes a new report titled "Maritime subsidies: Do they provide value for money?", published by the International Transport Forum (ITF) under the OECD.
