Corona makes shipowners lose confidence in eco investments

Planned investments in climate initiatives are no longer feasible, say a large proportion of European shipowners in a new survey by ECSA. "Major setback for the industry," says the association.

The corona pandemic has hit so hard that several European shipping companies will not be able to perform otherwise planned environmental investments, according to a survey conducted by the European Community Shipowners' Association, ECSA, during April.
