Maersk: Authorities have declined to help our seafarers

Maersk is experiencing more openings to replace its exhausted seafarers, but it is still far from the norm, says Niels Bruus, head of Marine HR, to ShippingWatch. Several physically as mentally unwell seafarers have been denied shore leave by authorities.

In mid-May, Maersk could open up for replacing its exhausted seafarers and the number of employees that go off shifts week by week.
