MOL earmarks USD 9.4 million for clean-up after oil spill near Mauritius

Japan's Mitsui OSK Line will spend USD 9.4 million in the coming years on several initiatives to aid Mauritius after the oil spill. Mangroves need to be cleaned, among other things, and a new environmental fund is also established.

Japanese shipping company Mitsui OSK Line now earmarks one billion yen, or USD 9.4 million, to help restore the environment around island state Mauritius.
