Seven European countries join forces ahead of MEPC meeting

Seven European countries are hastily forming an alliance to secure a significantly more ambitious climate agreement at the MEPC meeting in ten days. Greece, Cyprus and Malta were not invited, and for a good reason.

And thus the stage is set for the upcoming meeting in the IMO's important Marine Environment Protection Committee, MEPC, set to take place between Nov. 16-20.
