Over the past months, two employees at shipbreaking yards in Turkey have perished during the work to dismantle a cruise ship and two rigs, NGO informs.

Two employees from Turkish shipbreaking yards have lost their lives in work accidents in recent months, writes NGO Shipbreaking Platform.

The latest fatal accident happened just last week, where an employee at scrap yard Simsekler perished. The yard is currently cutting up a cruise ship from Carnical.
