Shipping lines responsible for massive CO2 emissions in 2020 according to EU

Container carrier MSC is the sixth largest carbon polluter in Europe. Emissions from shipping are so severe that the sector should be integrated into the EU's carbon quota system, urges environmental organization Transport & Environment.

Shipping is still a heavyweight on the list of the largest polluters in Europe, according to the European Commission's updated database of most pollutive companies in terms of their CO2 emissions in 2020.
