Norwegian shipowners fear Ukraine crisis could expose shipping to cyber warfare

Norwegian carriers are using a new cyber security center as a defense against potential cyber attacks. Ukraine crisis could lead to cyber attacks, and carriers should thus review their IT security, the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association tells ShippingWatch.

Norwegian shipowners should prepare for potential cyber attacks targeting the transport sector and infrastructure if the ongoing Ukraine crisis between the West and Russia is allowed to escalate, says the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association to ShippingWatch.
