Majority of scrap-ready ships ended up at beaches in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan in 2021

Most worn-out ships are still being scrapped at Asian beaching yards. Last year, 583 ships were handled in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, according to Shipbreaking Platform.
