Norway's shipowner association recommends members to inform of black carbon

While Norwegian Shipowners’ Association recommends carriers to inform of vessel emissions of soot particles in their climate accounts, Danish Shipping notes that carriers are not yet bound to report of these particles. Maersk is criticized in Danish Broadcasting Corporation for lack of information on emitted soot particles.

The Norwegian Shipowners’ Association recommends that its members, shipping companies, provide information about soot particles emitted by vessels – black carbon – in their climate accounts.
