EU currently quiet despite Biden's container alliance offensive

While US President Joe Biden has deemed container alliances a threat to national security and the cause of increasing freight rates, Brussels is still undecided. A ”fact-finding exercise” is, however, already in progress, informs spokesperson.

BRUSSELS – While US President Joe Biden recently signaled a charge against the world’s leading container alliances, the attitude in Brussels is currently more hesitant.
