450 companies withdraw from Russia – several within shipping

Since the invasion of Ukraine, sanctions have rained down on Russia, but over 450 companies, several of which operate in shipping, energy and logistics, have also decided to withdraw from or suspend activities in Russia, according to Yale report.

Russia’s attack on Ukraine has led not only to condemnation and a barrage of Western sanctions against the country, Russian companies, banks and individuals, but also sent foreign companies storming toward the exit.
