Close to a doubling of climate-friendly projects in shipping

Number of zero-emission pilot and demonstration projects within shipping has increased from 106 to 203 throughout the last year. In particular, focus is on green hydrogen, according to an overview by Global Maritime Forum.

Within the shipping industry, a marked increase has occurred in the number of zero-emission projects investigating the possibilities for a transition to greener fuels, according to a new report by NGO Global Maritime Forum made on behalf of climate coalition Getting to Zero Shipping.
