Greenpeace to sue EU for greening gas and nuclear power

After the European Parliament approved gas and nuclear power as sustainable energy forms in its taxonomy scheme, Greenpeace intends to take the Commission to the EU’s Court of Justice.

Atomic energy and to some extent natural gas were labeled as green by the European Parliament on Wednesday, prompting Greenpeace to seek litigation to have the decision reversed.
