IMF eyes high risk of recession in 2023

The International Monetary Fund downgrades its growth forecast for 2022, with the risk of a recession next year being particularly prominent.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) eyes a considerable slowdown in global growth this year compared to 2021.

The fund concludes as much in a July report, wherein its growth forecast is downgraded since the report published in April.
