Russia agrees to resume Ukraine grain export deal

After leaving the grain deal ensuring crucial grain shipments from Ukraine to world markets during the weekend, Russia has now altered its decision following Ukrainian guarantees not to use the sea corridor for military purposes.

Wheat prices plunged after Russia agreed to resume the deal allowing safe passage of Ukrainian crop exports, reversing a weekend announcement that sowed chaos through agricultural markets and sent prices soaring.
