Maersk is looking into large-scale production of green fuels in Spain

The Danish shipping major and the Spanish government will examine the opportunities for production of sustainable fuels with potential annual capacity of 2 million tonnes.

Maersk has recently commissioned 19 container vessels, which will be equipped to sail on green methanol, and the Danish company is currently on the lookout for suppliers of green fuels.
