Climate summit directs focus toward shipping's green shift

US and Norway have launched an initiative meant to boost the decarbonization of the shipping industry, and Denmark is calling for green maritime corridors at COP27.

The US and Norway, spearheaded by special climate envoy John Kerry and prime minister Jonas Gahr Støre, have jointly launched a platform for the green transformation of the shipping sector on Monday, during climate summit COP27.
