Shipping groups urge EU to enact green climate rules
Shipping lobbies in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands send an open letter to the EU pleading for regulation to ensure sustainability of green fuels – not only when burned in engines.
Three of Europe’s most prominent shipping interest groups are now using their weight to affect the EU’s forthcoming climate legislation for the industry – namely the union’s new CO2 quota rules set to enter force in the coming months.
