Negotiations ahead of a crucial climate meeting next week end without a clear recommendation on when shipping’s CO2 emissions should go to zero. NGO is highly critical.

After a week of meetings at the UN’s maritime organization IMO, the participating countries have failed to agree on the cut-off point for a long-term climate agreement for international shipping.
