Maersk to video monitor employees to prevent harassment

New law aims to prevent sexual harassment on US-flagged ships. Hence, Maersk is installing video and audio surveillance on its ships in the US.

After several cases of sexual harassment and assault on Maersk’s ships, the shipping group is now forced to install electronic monitoring of employees on its 23 container ships in the US.
