EU pledges to join US-led effort in the Red Sea

The recent decision by the EU will make it easier for countries within the union’s borders to join the coalition against the Houthis. NATO’s Jens Stoltenberg also joins in.

The US’s increased military efforts in and around the conflict-ridden area of the Suez Canal can now be joined by EU member states.
