Red Sea seafarers face serious risks to their mental health

The uncertainty and fear of sailing in the Red Sea, where the Houthis continue to attack ships, can have serious consequences for seafarers sailing in the area.

Ship owners and managers should not underestimate the impact that the conflict in the Red Sea can have on the mental health of seafarers, informs organization Mental Health Support Solutions (MHSS) in a statement.
