EU urged to create centralized sanctions unit

Norden and Danish Shipping want enforcement of EU sanctions to be handled by one unit to make them easier for the industry to navigate.

For the shipping industry to avoid intricate and inconsistent handling of EU sanctions, the responsibility must be taken away from local authorities and centralized, say tanker carrier Norden and the shipowners’ association Danish Shipping.
