Russia will now be able to insure tankers via India

Four Russian marine insurers have been approved to offer ship insurance via India, especially for vessels carrying Russian oil, according to Bloomberg.

Russia is now increasing its independence from Western insurance providers that have largely dropped coverage for ships transporting Russian oil.
