WTO now lowers its global growth outlook

There have already been several signs that global economic growth this year and next will not be as exuberant as projected just a few months ago. WTO now lowers its outlook for global trade. Find the complete report here.

Yet another of the world's major economic organizations now lowers its growth outlook for global trade this year and next year. This time, the World Trade Organization offers a more pessimistic view on the economy than just four or five months ago.

As in past cases, trade conflicts, including US President Donald Trump's stance on trade agreements, have removed some of the optimism, according to the report, available here.
