Euronav hires IT systems supplier to manage its fleet

Belgian tanker carrier Euronav has chosen IT firm Logimatics to supply its 52-vessel fleet with fleet management tools in order to optimize operations. "A considerable order for us," says the head of sales at Logimatic, Hans Christian Jensen, to ShippingWatch.

Euronav, part of the global tanker carrier elite, has opted to fit its fleet with Sertica fleet management technology from Danish systems supplier Logimatic.

Logimatic declines to reveal the price of the order, but head of sales Hans Christian Jensen tells ShippingWatch that it is a "significant order for us."
