Kvaerner reports improved bottom line

Order backlog is growing at Norwegian yard Kvaerner, which reports a growing bottom line in its interim report Thursday.

Norway's Kvaerner published its 2017 results on Thursday, showing a slight uptick in earnings as well as growing order backlog.

The operating profit (EBITDA) for the fourth quarter came to NOK 234 million (USD 29.5 million) on the back of a combined revenue of NOK 1.8 billion in the period. The latter marks a small setback compared to the same period last year.
