MAN bags large order for 11 of MSC's new mega-vessels

MAN Diesel & Turbo will supply engines for the 11 ultra-large vessels of 23,000 apiece ordered by MSC.

MAN Diesel & Turbo will supply engines for MSC's 11 new ultra-large container ships of 23,000 teu each.

The engines will be from the MAN B&W 11G95ME-C9.5 series and will be installed at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyards, which will build six of the ships, and at the DSME shipyards where the rest of the installations will be done.
