Norway to expand state aid for shipyards

Norway's government wants to increase its state-backs loan guarantees for newbuilds by NOK 2 billion to a total NOK 7 billion, reports E24.

The Norwegian government plans to increase state aid for the country's shipyards, pushing the total guarantee framework for loans to newbuilds to NOK 7 billion (USD 876 million), proposes the government in a revised budget according to E24.
