South Korea's DSME has grown its order book in 2018

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has so far this year boosted its order book significantly more than it did last year, reports South Korean news agency.

South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) reports a growing number of orders this year, as the order book has become significantly more packed compared to just a year ago.

According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, DSME has so far won orders totaling USD 3 billion this year, and this almost four times as much as at the same point in 2017, writes the news agency. At the same time last year, the yard had bagged orders for a total USD 810 million.
