Shell unveils post-2020 low-sulfur fuel plans

While the industry discusses future access to low-sulfur marine fuel, one of the big suppliers announces its plans for the coveted fuel.

Oil majors, which shipping companies are deeply dependent upon, are beginning to show their cards regarding plans to supply the the majority of the global fleet, some of which soon will sail on low-sulfur marine fuel with under 0.5 percent sulfur content.
