DNB impairs over USD 30 million on shipping portfolio

Individual shipping customers caused the major Norwegian bank to impair its shipping portfolio. Oil, gas and offshore are developing in a positive direction for the bank.

Norwegian bank DNB was forced to impair NOK 261 million (USD 31 million) worth of loans in its shipping portfolio, reveals the bank's quarterly report published Thursday.
