Scrubber alliance appoints new executive director

Clean Shipping Alliance 2020 has appointed Ian Adams as executive director. He previously headed the International Bunker Industry Association and is now entering the fight for open-loop scrubbers.

The scrubber alliance Clean Shipping Alliance 2020 has now appointed a secretariat and a front figure for the group, which consists of more than 30 shipping companies who have invested in scrubbers for their ships.

British company Maritime AMC will run the secretariat, while Ian Adams has been appointed executive director, says the alliance in a press release.
