Neon's foray into European marine insurance books deficit in first year

The first fiscal year following Neon's remarkable foray into European marine insurance with the launch of Orca resulted in a large deficit. But the loss does not worry management, and the British owner is ready with more money if the need arises.

Neon's remarkable foray into Europe in late 2017 has, as expected, produced a deficit, shows the first independent financial report from marine insurance company Orca Insurance Agency, which is Neon's subsidiary in Copenhagen and the hub for a broader European expansion.
